Laura Sara, RMT, Acupuncture, Cupping Specialist
Laura loves the outdoors and volunteering at the local library. She lives a healthy lifestyle and helps others to do the same. She graduated with honors from the Massage Therapy Program at Bryan College.
Laura's clients can attest to her skills in relaxation and deep tissue massage incorporating myofascial release techniques to treat skeletal muscle immobility and chronic pain in the tissues.
In addition to massage therapy, Laura uses acupuncture and cupping to assist in treating her clients' needs. She is passionate about continuing her learning in medicine and looks forward to a lifelong study of this subject.
Carol Barbato, RMT
Carol graduated from UOIT with a Bachelor in Physical & Health Education. She believes that through regular massage therapy treatment, one can alleviate pain, improve posture and increase an overall sense of well-being.
Carol provides a treatment plan specifically geared for her clients, including knowledge of their present condition, tailored stretching and home care to continue the path to success.
Markus Ottonen, RMT
Markus is an RMT and Physiotherapy Assistant who offers skills in both hands-on therapy and home care. He thoroughly enjoys making a difference in his community and is always willing to help in any way he can. As an avid mountain biker, he enjoys taking the time to balance both exercise and time to appreciate nature.
He specializes in deep tissue massage and improving his clients' range of motion with both stretching and home care.
Tara Lintner, RMT, hot stone massage, rain drop
Tara is a recent honors graduate from Trillium College and she is eager to start her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. She has always had passion for health and wellness and feels that massage therapy is an important component in achieving physical and emotional balance, contributing to one’s optimal well being. She is looking to build trusting relationships with her clients and creating individual treatment plans customized to their needs. She incorporates a variety of techniques into her treatments, including Swedish Massage, hot stone therapy, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. She finds that massage therapy is beneficial in helping clients decrease pain, increase mobility and create a connection between the mind and body. She is looking to continue her education by adding additional modalities, including myofascial stretch therapy and cupping.
