Meet Louisa

Lai Yee (Louisa) Ng,  R.TCMP & R. Ac

Louisa Ng was born in Hong Kong into a traditional Chinese medical family. Three generations of practitioners had practiced in their own clinics in Fosha and Macau in China for the past 200 years. Louisa feels blessed that she can follow the same path of her family heritage in TCM. She has a deep appreciation for not only medicine, but also philosophy, sociology, anthropology, astronomy, meteorology and ecology. Louisa understands how to treat her patient as an individual with three-dimensional levels, covering all aspects; physical, mental, and spiritual, instead of simply treating a syndrome or symptoms from a case history or a medical record.

Louisa obtained her diploma as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP) at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM) in 2016. Since then she has been continuing her study at John and Jenny TCM College, taking advanced programs in Theories of Classical Chinese Medicine as well as an advanced clinical internship from TCM Masters. She is also certified in TCM Cosmetic Acupuncture at OCTCM. Louisa has been practicing as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R. TCMP) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) since 2019 in the Markham area. Louisa enjoys hiking, swimming and travelling, as well as listening to classical music and jazz.
